However, with the increasing variety of applications, the need for training to learn them and be able to participate in daily practice has also become inevitable. Video-based courses, practical workshops, live hands-on courses and conferences have become important parts of this training. The primary purpose of conferences is not so much to teach a subject from A to Z, like a course, but rather to convey developments in the relevant field, new techniques, new products and devices to participants by competent and experienced speakers in that field. Viewed from this perspective, the concentration of conferences in their own fields will enable a broader and more detailed teaching to take place in that field.

As FAGA, guided by this mission, we aimed to convey the knowledge and developments in the field to participants in a more detailed and in-depth manner by focusing solely on functional cosmetic gynaecology and closely related topics. We have addressed the fundamental topics under Cosmetic Gynaecology as separate modules, including only the relevant subjects for each topic in their content, in order to avoid conceptual confusion and make them more comprehensible.

We also wished to include numerous distinguished speakers in our congress who have made a name for themselves in their fields on the international stage, who have published books and articles, who have their own techniques and who have spent years working in this field, so that participants could see and learn the latest techniques and developments from the masters themselves. We aimed to ensure a merit-based distribution by having each topic presented by a speaker who is more knowledgeable and experienced in that particular subject.

In addition, with the video-based “MASTERCLASS” course planned for the day before the congress, we will provide our colleagues who wish to participate with the opportunity to learn their own surgical and application techniques with instructional videos from the world's most competent names in the field.

On the other hand, we also aim to bring new momentum to the sector by ensuring that the products and devices of our corporate partners participating in our congress meet with attending physicians. We hope that our congress will serve as an important gateway, particularly for our national manufacturing companies, to introduce their own products and devices to the international market, and we plan to do our utmost in this regard.

Dear Colleagues, I would like to invite you to the first FAGA Functional Cosmetic Gynaecology Congress, which we have prepared with a different mission, a different vision and energy, and I wish you all the best in your work.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Colleagues ;

Functional Cosmetic Gynecology has become a focus of interest not only in our country but also worldwide, particularly over the past 10 years, with increasing demand, primarily among gynecologists but also among physicians in other fields. Although it was not as popular in the past, cosmetic gynecology has come a long way in its approximately 25-year history. Cosmetic gynaecology has incorporated numerous sub-topics, particularly due to the significant interest shown by both patients and doctors in non-surgical procedures and the inclusion of regenerative medicine in recent years. Furthermore, the fact that many of these procedures can be performed in an office setting has further increased their popularity among doctors.
